Album BUCKINGHAM NICKS is once again available

by Linda Hubbard on September 19, 2025

It’s been over 50 years, but the album BUCKINGHAM NICKS is once again available on vinyl, CD and digital formats starting today, September 19.

The album was recorded in 1972 — and released in 1973 — by fellow Menlo-Atherton High School alums Stevie Nicks (class of 1966) and Lindsey Buckingham (class of 1967).

Classmates of Stevie’s recall her strumming her guitar at school assemblies.

And M-A alum (and InMenlo weather watcher) Dennis Nugent, who managed the Burgess Pool in 1968, recalls his locker room attendant — Lindsey — making music that could be heard outside on the pool deck.

I am watching this one closely and haven’t given up -maybe once the ‘We remember now’ moment has passed they will feel more enthusiastic about sharing some memories with the community. Hey why not, the M-A kids and we all would love to hear their inspiration & honest sharing of memories from M-A days. There is a picture of them sitting together at a meal at M-A Class Day looking happy & good. So fun!

On the other hand I appreciate that they are barraged with interview requests !
