Menlo Park Speaks Out highlights post card making at Rinconada Park Democracy Fair

by Linda Hubbard on October 19, 2025

Emails Mary Watson: “Menlo Park Speaks Out had a table at the Rinconada Park Democracy Fair held yesterday [10/18]. The theme of the fair was to show people in the community how to take political action. Our group did ‘Make Post Carding a Family Affair’.

“I invited a group of neighborhood girls ages four to nine to come to my house and make voting postcards that were then on display at our table with all the supplies needed to make your own. We’re encouraging moms and grandmothers to involve their kids in creating cards that can be mailed out during our upcoming elections. These cards will definitely get noticed when they arrive in someone’s mailbox.

“We talked with the girls about how important it was to vote and why these cards were important to get people to send in their ballot.”
