Joy and Eric Weintz are presenting a benefit for Americares at The Guild on November 19

Menlo Park residents Joy and Eric Weintz are presenting a benefit at The Guild Theatre on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, featuring The Wildcats to boost awareness in the Bay Area for Americares.

“Americares is a disaster relief and medicine security organization that we have supported for decades. It inspired Eric’s career in Emergency Medicine when he was appointed the first field project director in the late 1980s.

“The Wildcats band was created by a peer group of executives in Palo Alto. It features Jeff Scheel (rhythm guitar, vocals – Eric’s Stanford roommate!), Hank Barry (drums, vocals), Michael Brown (keyboards, vocals), Al Kenrick (rhythm guitar, vocals), John Hiss (bass) and Kevin Mandia (lead guitar).”
