Rain continues over the Christmas holiday — here’s updated report

More rain fell after InMenlo weather watcher Dennis Nugent issued a report on Wednesday, December 24, bringing the total for that day to 1.94″ — a mighty rain!

On Christmas Day, December 25th, his digital weather gauge recorded 1.56″.

And by 3:30 pm today, another 0.04″ fell, bringing the season-to-date that runs from October 1 to September 30 to 9.21″.

The forecast calls for a bit more rain today before a period of dry days return.

Menlo Park resident Robin Tobias spotted a rainbow around 11:30 am Christmas Day.
