It’s raining hard — again — in Menlo Park
When InMenlo weather watcher Dennis Nugent issued the daily rain report around 3:00 pm (as he usually does), he knew it was going to be far less than what the 24-hour period will reveal.
At 3:00, just 0.18″ had fallen. The updated total from Sunday, Jan. 4 is 1.66″.
That brings the season-to-date to 12.72″, about twice as much as last year’s 6.65″ at this time.
Rain, heavy at times, is forecast to continue to midnight.
