Yes, it finally rained in Menlo Park — with more to come

Wet streets and rain drops on the roofs of Menlo Park homes arrived yesterday, the first precipitation since January 6 according to InMenlo weather watcher Dennis Nugent’s records.

His manual gauge recorded 0.60″ on February 10, bringing the season-to-date to 13.99″. (Note: the season is October 1 to September 30).

Rain is forecast off and on for the rest of the day — and we’ll update the numbers around 3:00 pm. Update: not much additional rain, just 0.08″ bringing season-to-date to 14.07″.
