Menlo School’s Ava Allen named Chronicle stand out athlete

The San Francisco Chronicle recently selected 18 high school athletes as exceptional. Included was Menlo School’s Ava Allen in the multi-sports category.
Wrote Mitch Stephens: “Not only was she the Chronicle’s Offensive Player of the Year as quarterback for the CCS champion Knights (she accounted for 74 touchdowns, 58 passing), but was also the basketball team’s third leading scorer and top playmaker — and made the varsity baseball team, which also won a CCS championship.”
