Menlo Park Fire rescues dog that was swimming in the San Francisco Bay
The Menlo Park Fire Protection District received a call that a dog had run into the San Francisco Bay and just kept swimming.
A witness called 911, and the dog was spotted via binoculars, and then via a drone. A Redwood City Fire Boat was launched and picked up the dog about a half mile off shore.
The dog was turned over to SPCA, who was able to locate the owners who first reported the dog missing on July 4th.
Dog and family were reunited.
