On Saturday, October 31, Trinity Church in Menlo Park is hosting a day of practical guidance, compassion and hope for those planning their last chapter along with their adult children. Open to the wider community; registration is free.
Whether you have been thinking about your own mortality, caring for an aging parent or friend, supporting someone who has received a serious diagnosis, or simply wondering what options and resources are available when the time comes, this gathering will supply answers.
The keynote speaker is the Rev. Dr. Libby Boatwright, author, The Last Things We Talk About.
She will be joined by Kathy Thielke Chen, California Licensed Private Professional Fiduciary and Certified Estate Planner™; Gabby Jimenez, hospice nurse and end-of-life doula; and Reina Galanes, PhD, Director, End of Life Choices California.
Doors open at 8:00 am; program concludes at 3:00 pm.
