Stamp Out Hunger Food drive by postal workers

Most local residents received a paper food bag along with their mail this week. It’s part of the National Association of Letter Carriers’ and and the U.S. Postal Service’s 20th annual drive to Stamp Out Hunger, which will benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.

To participate, fill the bag with non-perishable foods such as canned soup or vegetables, pasta, rice or cereal and set it  next to your mailbox prior to the time of regular mail delivery on Saturday, May 12. Your letter carrier will collect your donation and deliver it to the Second Harvest Food bank.
