Spotted: Live crab at the Menlo Park Farmers Market
In a sight that was missing last year at this time, live Dungeness crab could be purchased this morning at the Menlo Park Farmers Market, brought by Pietro Parravano. The first local crabs didn’t come to market last year until April due to high concentration of domain acid. Dungeness is one of the traditional treats of the holidays.

Crab is one of the things we miss this time of year Hmb and Fort Bragg, but being in Zihuatanejo, Mexico,we make due with lobster, shrimp, and an abundance of seafood. Guess it’s frozen crab for us on our return in May.Also miss Cooks seafood.
