A Bit of Woodstock in Menlo

Forty years ago this weekend a half a million people gathered on Max Yasgur’s farm in upstate New York for Woodstock, a musical event that defined a generation and one that’s likely to remain unequaled. Today, there was a little bit of Woodstock at Menlo’s farmer’s market. Street musician Suzanne Holland brought her lovely voice, solid song repertoire, and bits of whimsy (sounds of a rooster!) to the delight of two young listeners.

Hi,
Here is the telephone-number that for Suzzanne Holland, +1 (415) 792 8630. I saw her today (June 21, 2019) at the Friday Farmers Market in Oakland, CA. I really enjoyed her singing while I was at the market shopping my weekly groceries, she’s just great. I could not stop myself from speaking to her when she took a break from her singing. She told me she lives in San Francisco, and that is her tel-number. I bought a cd that she has published as an album.
I will try to locate and meet her whenever I’ll have time. She is so nice, lovely voice, and sweet to talk with. You can view a clip of her singing right here, https://www.facebook.com/bijaya.manandhar.37/posts/10214530390229628?notif_id=1561152506615393¬if_t=video_processed

I was at the El Cerrito Farmer’s Market last weekend and heard this lovely woman singing; I was was overcome with emotion. Bought two CDs which I am enjoying now. Transformed me back into my Berkeley days. I live in Maine but this music helps me relieve those times.
Thank you, Suzanne, for singing “Suzanne” to me.
Peace and love to you,
Paula

My day was blessed as I was walking through Fort Mason Farmers’ Market about three weeks ago. I heard this lovely singing which drew me closer to the actual singer, Suzanne Holland. She gave off a lovely feeling of warmth and peace. She lifted my day as we talked about music and how I also loved singing but had not the courage to do what she was doing. She is truly blessed and gives the blessings away for free. lovely to meet her. M xx

Met Suzanne Holland twice when she was singing at Fort Mason
Farmers’ Market. Bought her CD “Sisters of Mercy: Suzanne Holland
Sings Songs of Leonard Cohen.” It is so beautiful.
Would love to let her know how thankful I am. Is there some way
to get in touch with her?
