Sun on Sunday brings Daffy Dave to Menlo’s Farmers Market

A bright and sunny Sunday morning – the first in weeks – brought out the crowds at Menlo Park’s Farmers Market this morning – and an appearance by Daffy Dave. Kids were lining up to for balloons and banter from the popular variety entertainer, who’s noted for his silly songs.

In other market news, business was brisk enough that Holding Ranch had sold out of top sirloin steak by 9:30 am, strawberry prices continued to come down, no salmon yet from Pietro (but a great selection of petrale sole!) and there was an abundance of English peas.
