Closer look at damage at Avanti Pizza

InMenlo contributor Connie Sutton submitted this photo of the interior of Avanti Pizza on the Alameda taken by her son on the way home from school on Monday. A woman drove her Audi 6 into the take-out restaurant yesterday afternoon, apparently when she hit the gas pedal rather than brake. A woman working behind the counter was injured and taken to Stanford hospital. Her injuries were not life threatening.
