City of Menlo Park holds public meetings on Facebook campus on Dec. 8 and Jan. 9

In a notice mailed to homeowners, the City of Menlo Park announced: “The City of Menlo Park is in the final stages of preparing the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and Draft Fiscal Impact Analysis (FIA) for the Facebook Campus Project.

The Project involves two components — an East Campus located at 1601 Willow Road and a West Campus located at 312 and 313 Constitution Drive. The East and West Campuses would result in an approximately 1,476,000 square foot office development (of which approximately 444,000 sq. ft. is new construction) that would house approximately 9,400 employees.”

Key meetings related to the project include an informational meeting on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 7:00  pm the Senior Center, 100 Terminal Ave. and a Planning Commission meeting labeled as a Public Hearing and Study Session on Monday, Jan. 9 at 7:00 pm at the City Council Chambers located at 701 Laurel St.

Extensive information regarding the project is available for review at the Menlo Park Library, the Community Development Department and online on the City website. Residents are urged to provide comments before or at the Planning Commission Meeting on Jan. 9. The deadline for submitting comments is January 23, 2012.
