Old Woodside Store Day takes place on May 3

On Sunday, May 3, from 12:00 to 4:00 pm, the San Mateo County Historical Association presents Old Woodside Store Day, a free family event. Visitors are invited to experience life in the 1880s, with activities focusing on the history of the Woodside Store and the redwood logging that occurred in the region
The Woodside Storekeepers volunteer docent group will demonstrate and invite the public to use a two person saw, split shingles with a mallet and froe, wash clothes the old-fashioned way, twine rope, churn butter and create old-time dolls to take home. There will also be traditional Blue Grass music.
The Old Woodside Store is located at 3300 Tripp Road, Woodside. Event parking will be at Woodside Elementary (3195 Woodside Road) with shuttle service provided to the Woodside Store.
