ConnectMenlo (General Plan Update) Open House #3 set for March 19
ConnectMenlo is an update of the City’s General Plan, which guides future development, land uses, and transportation in the city. As part of the ConnectMenlo update, the City will be examining land uses and development standards for the M-2 zoning area, as well as mobility issues citywide.
The Belle Haven neighborhood is changing. M-2 zoning, General Plan updates, future development, visioning and implementation: What does it all mean?
An open house/open forum set for March 19 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm will give residents a chance to talk with City representatives to learn more about ConnectMenlo and what’s happening in Belle Haven and the rest of Menlo Park. At this Open House, attendees will have a chance to review the Preferred Land Use Alternative.
The Open House will take place at the Belle Haven Neighborhood Service Center & Substation,
871 Hamilton Ave., in Menlo Park.

Is it just a coincidence that Palo Alto is also updating its General Plan, or Comp Plan, under the name “Our Palo Alto”, or is there some kind of push by the building industry regionally to intensify the already intense recent rapid change?
