Calling all Hillview music alumni on the occasion of Richard Vaughan’s retirement
After 23 years, Hillview School’s Music Director Richard Vaughan is retiring.
Alumni are invited to sit in and play with their alumni ensemble at the Hillview Spring Concert, to be held Wednesday, May 1, at 6:00 pm in the Hillview PAC and/or with their 7/8 band or strings ensemble outside Bistro Vida in Menlo Park on Sunday, June 9, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Individual performances will also be welcome on June 9 for any alumni that would like to participate.
Alumni participants MUST RSVP to these events in order for Mr. Vaughan to provide music, seating, and guidelines. For the May 1 concert, RSVP no later than Saturday, April 20. For the June 9 Bistro Vida event, please RSVP no later than Monday, May 20.

could we do a song together mr vaughn .always thought of you as my conductor . hi it’s me norm kahan . our daughters were dancing at menlo academy of dance long ago and we performed together at the intermissions of “ twas the night “ i’d sing and you’d play chello .
anyway it would be my honor to play a song with you.
i’ve added guitar , keyboard and harmonica to my singing .
just a fun thought to honor you .
maybe i sing and play on piano “ your song “ by elton john and we put together other instruments to accompany . i’ll send my website and have this and other songs recorded
